I loved that this book was an easy read and still life changing. And when I say life changing, it gives small ways to change your daily life which then in turn changes your whole life!
This book came to me at a time in my life where I really needed it-- and I am so grateful!!! ) Thank you Tim for the tools to make some serious changes!
This is a beautifully written account of one individual's path to happiness in spite of overwhelming odds. In a culture, wherein almost every book on self improvement pushes the "law of attraction", Tim makes some important distinctions between what we think we desire today, and the soul contract we made in a previous life which may result in something quite different, but may be just what we need to find our true path to happiness. This book provides all the steps necessary to align with our true calling and purpose, whatever that may be. Tim describes a spiritual workout that will take you far into the depths of yourself, as long as you have the courage to go there. The book is easy to read, filled with true stories that will inspire you to reexamine your priorities and beliefs about what it means to be happy. I highly recommend it!
Wonderful book. My husband and I have been reading it together at night. We're both learning and now we call each other out when we sink into low vibration. ;)
I actually met Tim Daulter in a Sacred Pregnancy training, where he was sharing very helpful practices for practicing a happy marriage and relationship. His wife, Anni, has started an amazing movement for women, which I am happy to be a part of. After the retreat, I offered this book to my husband, who has struggled with his happiness for years. He read the book in 2 days and declared that he was going to Practice Happy! I then finished the book and was amazed at the similarities of Tim's journey with my husband's and how honestly he described his path, including the challenging times. This is not only a fabulous, easy to read and use book, it shares the story of a journey and the importance of partnership in a relationship (that is what I got from it!) ) The book has been an excellent tool for me and my husband in conversation... I now say "Are you practicing happy today?" and it has concrete meaning and we can talk about the specific practices that are outlined in the last chapter of the book. Thank you, Tim for sharing this book, and for Anni for starting the movement... not sure if I would have discovered this little treasure of a book.
I have read the book twice, the first time two years ago and again recently. I feel this book works well no matter where a person may be on their journey. It could be full of epiphanies (still was for me on second reading) and can be as valuable too as a comprehensive reminder of great ways to stay centered, present and productive in all aspects of your life. Tim Daulter has helped frame for me a lifelong practice for thoughtful and joyous living.
This book has been so great for me, personally. The daily practices and exercises are so helpful in trying to keep my vibration high, and helping manifest more positivity in my life. It has changed my life. The author is relatable and incredibly thoughtful in his advice. A must read for anyone who suffers from depression, anger, anxiety, or just wants to live life on a higher vibration.
Loved this deep and easy to read book, with practical ideas for living a life of joy. Easily one of my new favorites.
